Dr. Isabella is not only a stellar Performance Physical Therapist, but a Women’s Health and Pelvic Health Physical Therapist passionate about empowering her patients to regain their confidence, take back control, and continue to live an active lifestyle with no pain or symptoms. She has a passion for educating every patient about the crucial role of the pelvic floor and the surrounding musculature as it is the key role to understanding what is “normal”.
She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Florida in 2023. Upon graduation, Isabella completed a postdoctoral Women’s Health and Pelvic Health Residency Program where she received specialized training in pelvic floor rehabilitation for urinary incontinence, functional bowel disorders, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, obstetric and postpartum physical therapy, conditions more prevalent in female patients such as fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, and women’s neuro-musculoskeletal health across the lifespan.
She lived most of her life in Naples, Florida but was born in Bogota, Colombia! She grew up going to the beach which allowed her to fall in love with beach volleyball, spikeball, and picture-perfect sunsets. Moving more in-state, Isabella received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida (GO GATORS!) before making her way back to the beach.
She enjoys spending her free time with her husband playing various sports, competing in beach volleyball tournaments, and traveling to see new places!
